Striving to eat more whole grains? This mac & cheese is made with a blend of whole wheat and semolina pasta and natural cheddar cheese. An easy way to get 9 grams of whole grains in each serving. Deliciously wholesome.
*Nutritionists recommend eating 3 or more servings of whole grain foods per day (about 16 g per serving or at least 48g per day).
You will need:
6 cups of water
1/4 cup 1% low fat milk
1-1/2 Tbsp. Unsalted butter
- Boil 6 cups of water. Stir in Macaroni. Boil 6-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Drain. Do not rinse. Return to pan.
- Add 1-1/2 Tbsp Unsalted butter, 1/4 cup 1% low fat milk & Cheese Sauce mix.
- Mix well. Makes about 3 cups.
