Dr. McDougall's Organic Original Oatmeal has been judged best tasting oatmeal among natural brands. We select only the tastiest oats for Dr. McDougall's Oatmeal. That's why we don't need to add as much salt to our oatmeal as some other brands.
We also fortify our Organic Original Oatmeal with vitamins carefully chosen to be naturally processed ~Heart Healthy B Vitamin, Folic Acid, & Calcium.
Oatmeal helps remove cholesterol! 3 grams of soluble fiber daily from oatmeal, in a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease. This cereal has 1 gram per packet.
Stir in Ideas:
Raisins, dried cranberries, sliced strawberries, blueberries. To use frozen fruit - defrost fruit in microwave and stir into oatmeal.
Hot Water Directions:
Empty packet into bowl. Add 1/2 cup of boiling water and stir
Empty packet into microwave safe bowl. Add 1/2 cup water and stir. Cook on high for about 1 minute or until desired consistency is reached. Stir
For thicker oatmeal, use slightly less water. For 2 packets, follow same directions using 1 cup water.
