We know you're in a hurry, so these oats blend state of the art technology with time honored tradition and need only 5 minutes to cook!
Each serving of Steel Cut Oatmeal contains 1 gram of soluble fiber.
For Each Serving:
Bring 3/4 cup of water to a boil. Add 1/4 cup McCann's Quick & Easy Steel Cut Oats. Reduce heat to low, simmer uncovered for 5-7 minutes, stirring regularly. Remove from heat and allow to stand for 1 minute before serving.
For Each Serving:
Combine 3/4 cup of water to 1/4 cup of McCann's Quick & Easy Steel Cut Oats in a deep microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 3 minutes, stir and then cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Remove from microwave and allow to stand for 1 minute before serving.
Note: As microwaves are different, cooking times may vary.
For thicker oatmeal, use less water.
